Summary

I keep waiting for that breakthrough month when it becomes apparent that the market has started to improve drastically. Instead, what I keep getting is glimpses of an improved market that comes and goes from month to month.

I think it will be awhile until we see the real estate stats improve substantially. I believe we will continue to see OK but less than spectacular numbers until the short sales and foreclosures are gone and the economy improves.

Thanks for reading my Ventana Ranch real estate stats for September 2012. Please check back in about a week to see what’s happening with short sales and foreclosure homes in Ventana.

  1. Home prices are up $172,000. That’s amazing. It sounds like your higher priced homes are on the rise, which will be good for the lower priced ones as well.
